They asked me to make a space whale at work. Here is some early vis dev sketches.
I came up with this character with the story she belongs to back in 2013. It’s changed a lot but after doing this turnaround and vis dev at @theattackwagon I really feel like making a final outline and vis dev for a pitch. Lets see how that goes.
Its been years since I was able to make a full character turnaround, but I’m glad I finally took the time to do so, use a few new techniques, make a lot of errors and learn some time saving tricks for next time! I’ll post the colored version soon!
Hello tumblr, i’m back is it safe?! Ig has been kinda shitty for a while, I really should have bailed a long time ago, so thank you fellow artist for reminding me of T’s existence!
Anyway! Here is a spaceship with designs I made for Attack Wagon’s Scrapper Guilds! I based class of ships off of muscle cars. We went with the second version because the side weapons had to be fixed and have a clear unobstructed forward firing angle but i still like the first with its hidden weapon ports.
The 3D model was rendered by my very talented colleagues Aaron and Ivan who i will tag if i find out they have a Tumblr!
Living quarters on a small spaceship. Everything is practically and retractable. Each of the individual pods also serve as escape pods with their own supply of oxygen, atmosphere control, limited fuel, distress beacon, and temporary spacesuit stowed under the bed.
I’ve had to update my portfolio and decided to make a real effort to fill it with plenty of concept art.
The Stigray is a space to atmosphere racing ship. While it can re-enter the atmosphere on its own it requires a blaster rocket to reach escape velocity.
Ok I haven’t been back on tumblr for a while, let’s start things of with Detective Pikachu! Omg I was soo happy for that movie!! It only needed to do one thing right and it did it and then some!!!
