I had a blast at Comics Underground tonight. I wasn't entirely sure how a bunch of people reading their comics onstage would turn out, but it was a real treat. Jeanette Langmeade's story about strong-arming a Japanese police officer into a selfie was worth the admission alone.The four-man team reading Douglas Wolk's Judge Dredd: Mega-City Two made a fun book that much snappier. Easily my favorite bit was Zack Soto's improvised sound effects for the so-called silent bits of The Secret Voice. All comic artists should read their books aloud like that, even just for fun.

I love Sam and Fuzzy, it is very much an excellent comic! Hopefully next time maybe i'll have a better conversation, it's hard when your too starstuck with such coolness! *u*
