"Remind me, how did you happen to find this place again?" It wasn't like the two of them didn't go on random adventures often, but this one was a first. Urban exploring was an interesting concept to Chara, after all, who didn't think it was cool exploring abandoned/off-limits places? Sure, probably dangerous in most cases, but when your boyfriend was Sans and you yourself were a human with magic, "dangerous" didn't have the same meaning to you. For the two of them, this was just another stroll, a way to have peace and quiet away from others for a bit.

"You also realize if my Mom finds out you brought me here, she might kill you. Well, okay, only if she were to find out AND she has reason to believe there are dangerous people around for some reason."

Chara flinched a bit at Sans’ words, looking down and sighing. They weren’t necessarily trying to hide that they were hurt, as much as they were trying to hide the obvious fact that they had gotten into a fight. That’s what bothered them more, because they had tried to promise their Mom there wouldn’t be anymore fighting. They shake their head and look at him.

“This isn’t about me being strong... Sans, it was just a group of kids being assholes, you know? They were a group of bullies, doing what bullies do, pick on the ones who are different. I’ve got a very different family compared to them, and I’m happy with that, but clearly they have issues. But I wasn’t going to just let them keep hitting me... So I fought back. And before you ask, if you are, no, absolutely no magic. I was never gonna go that far, even though they probably would have peed their pants and maybe left me alone...” they go on, shrugging.

Another day and another mission, something that came to him rather naturally. Leon was known to try to jump from one mission directly into the next one. Then again, the Government wasn't known for giving him a holiday... Not with this kind of shit going on.

Leon walked through the building, his eyes scanning over his surroundings. This area looks quiet, and it looked like it was reasonable to assume the information he was looking for would be in here. He walks towards the desk in the back area of the room, not even noticing the skeleton in a blue hoodie in the corner. He opens the doors and begins looking through different papers.

Chara was in the process of reorganizing their room. Maybe for the third time this week. They weren't able to tell why their room didn't feel quite right yet, and they were determined to keep moving furniture and such around until it felt like it was where it was supposed to be. They had already moved their bed to be pressed against the back wall, facing towards the door, in the middle so both sides were open. Their computer desk was opposite from where the bathroom and closet resided, next to the large window, to not block out natural light. They stepped back and looked around the room at the different decorations, their bookshelf and give a small hum, thinking to themselves.

"I don't know what's missing here..." they mumble, shaking their head.

“Okay, okay soooooo!” Mayano starts excitedly, handing off a few presents to Opera, amber eyes glowing with warmth. She waits for the other Uma to open the gifts, practically bouncing in place.

The first gift was tickets to a popular stage play that she had heard Opera wanted to go see, along with reservations to a popular new restaurant for after the show. And finally, a beautiful silver necklace.

“I heard you talking about this show! And I thought it’d be so much fun to go watch with you! And there’s this new place nearby that’s super popular, and I made reservations for after the show. And when I saw this necklace… it just reminded me so much of you and I thought it would look soooo pretty on you!”

Chara feels their face burn brightly in embarrassment before they wave their hand dismissively at the compliment. “Ah hah…. No, nah uh… I…” they stumble before huffing.

“I’m…. Not used to getting compliments on my eyes. So…” they finally say before crossing their arms over their chest, like they were trying to shrink themselves a bit further.

"I think Opera is so amazing~!" Maya suddenly says with a giggle. Her eyes get brighter as she opens them, thinking about the last time she went to a performance with Opera as the lead because of course she was.

"She's the most twinkly when she's in her element you know~! Anywhere on a stage is where she shines the brightest! She can even turn the race track into a stage of her very own!" she goes on stretching out her hands and lowering them like a small motion of a firework.

"Not to mention she's always so kind and confident, but she makes it her mission to bring others up too! She makes such a great friend, anyone who gets to be her friend or race alongside her is soooo lucky!!"
