Brookie Maxwell sketches the layout of a large scale public exhibition of the Coming Home Project. This exhibition will be an art experience for soldiers and civilians through healing workshops, reenactments, interviews, and dialogues.
The exhibition will feature Lazarus in Afghanistan: The Golden Hour, Maxwell’s large scale mural in progress, as well as an installation of photographs by COL Greg Gadson. A series of unforgettable quotes from soldiers and civilians is the last section of the exhibition. Throughout this space, the public is urged to participate.
