[He popped his head into the room. The room felt warmer than the rest of the ship, full of papers and yellow lighting reminding him of a library.]

Woah..

[He slowly crept into the room, closing the door behind him gently. If it looked like a library, then it must be one, right? And you need to be quiet in a library.]

[Maybe there was a librarian?]

[He wandered around the room for a few minutes before climbing up onto the desk chair. There didn't seem to be any books that he would like in here. What a lacking library. But there were pencils and paper on the desk! The papers were boring, though. What in the world was an "Incident report?"]

[He decided it was much more useful as drawing paper.]

*Mousey had been hiding out at the far back, going through a box for papers they haven't needed in a while. Honestly, the shelves this far back were more storage than anything. All their important work was kept up front, easier to grab and run back out when needed.*

*The door opening had caught their attention but they didn't bother to check who had walked in. Sometimes the others bring notices or complaints in rather than having them go out. It's easy to assume this is one of those cases.*

Mm...yeah, that should be enough for now.

*With a small nod, they make their way back through the shelves and to their desk.....only to stop dead in their tracks when they find a small, blonde child in the chair. What was a kid doing in here? This is one of the safer parts of the Tulpar, sure, but still not ideal for an unsupervised child.*

*It's only when they notice he's drawing over their documents that they panic a little. They only have so many of those and getting more is such a pain. How many has he destroyed by now? How long was he here?*

*A smile is forced into place as they walk around to the side of the desk, careful to be in his field of view when they stop. Startling the poor kid by being directly behind him seems like a horrible idea. They hated that growing up too.*

Hi there, sweetie. How'd you get in here?

{A very small Jimmy wandered into the Records, looking at all the boxes and shelving in scrutiny before settling on Mousey, brows furrowing} ".... Everyone's got weird hair here..." {He said in lieu of a greeting, judgement dripping off of him even as he rewrapped the thick blue blanket he was settled in.} "Who are you??" [Got hit with the baby beam, and I figured you'd enjoy this :3] [ - @the-true-tulpar-captain ]

*They slowly set down the folder they had pulled from a shelf at the sound of such a small voice, turning to find whatever ill-mannered child it belonged to. There was very little surprise on their face when they see him. It's not hard to put that disapproving look and brown hair to a name*

Your parents not teach you manners or something? That's not how you talk to people, little man.

*A frown graces their expression as they walk over. There's no attempt to fix that either.*

The name's Mousey. And who are you, tiny intruder?

Neon appears quietly in the doorway, wearing his seal skin, having brought a fair amount of snacks as promised. He silently pushes a handful of food into Mouse's hands, puts the receptacle the food is on down by the desk, and settles down.

"While you were taking care of Curly, were you able to find out why exactly he reacts negatively to anyone being loud or swearing?" He asks, getting right to the point.

"It's obviously a trauma response, I see how he looks at me. We know boss isn't a great liar and doesn't have the best poker face."

Ooh, right to it, huh? You're easier to have hard talks with than he was during that week, at least.

*They pat the small space they set up for him as they settle beside him, full of spare blankets and pillows they'd stowed away in their room before the trip started. Must have been what the small suitcase was for.*

*The food doesn't seem too important to them but they're grateful all the same. It'll save them from needing to worry about meals while they get caught up to speed on everything around the ship. For now, though? Neon needs them*

We did briefly talk about it, yeah. And you're right. He couldn't hide that reaction no matter how much he wants to.

...I dunno how much he would like me talking about it but you're his brother. You just want to understand so you can make things easier for both of you, right?

*They smile tiredly and pat a spot on their desk as they pass it for her to drop the logs off. They're still attempting to work a pain out of their neck while they drop into their chair*

Shouldn't really have anything new for you, no. Uhhh....I kinda lost track of what was supposed to be done with all the recent chaos.

I have a lot to catch up on, though. I'm sure of that. So if you wanna sit and chat for a while, that'd be just fine. You know, before you run to go see Anya and all.

[Daph looks tired, very tired. But they do their best to wear a smile. They're also glad to see mousey :) ]

Oh, hey Daph. Uh, currently not great. Just found out the boss had his breakdown way faster than I thought.

*They flash a half-smile in return, tone a little more practiced polite than they want it to be. It's fine. They just need to breathe. Maybe Daph coming out here is helpful!*

I was planning to come ask if you noticed how he's been but...here we are. Guess not if no one else has, right?

But that aside....what happened with you? Why do you look so miserable?

"knock knock?" Tim peeked into the room, usual warm smile on his face. Hair put itnto a ponytail, sleeves of the uniform pulled up - he was probably working before.

"cześć Mysza... I came to check up on you? It looked like you had a lot to worry about lately and... Yeah... You need any help?" He asked, fidgeting with his keychain but keeping his gaze on them.

Oh, Tim, there you are. I was hoping to see you sometime while I'm on little trips away from the boss' room. I'm a lot better now that he is but I did fall behind on some stuff.

*They walk over and pat his shoulder, smiling softly. They're always so happy to see him, but today it's especially comforting. Some normal despite everything that's happened*

I already delegated a lot of it off to our navigator but I have my daily checks of every area that I need to get done. And some replies to the company that need to be sent out, if you don't mind helping with those.

They're already written out but I can't leave him alone long enough to send them because he keeps trying to get back to work already.

"Don't tell Curly, but I have some stashed in my freezer. It's.. strictly for business. Is strawberry okay?" (Anya!)

Anya! You didn't tell me you had a freezer in there. How mean. I thought we were friends.

*They pout dramatically for all of three seconds before laughter overpowers it*

The boss won't hear a thing, I promise. And of course strawberry is good. Strawberry flavored things are, like, literally some of the best.

Definitely suits you to like stuff like that too.

If I could find it, I'd be happy to share. But I don't think we're really equipped to even have stuff like that. Let alone store it.

*They sigh and fuss with their hoodie, pulling it tighter around themself. This is a new guest, someone they don't recall meeting before but he seems interesting enough. Very strange eyes. They want to ask but don't. It would be rude*

I have enough trouble storing candy and my energy drinks here. Anything more than that is a hassle I'm not willing to put up with.
