This is an interesting inclusion in last week's episode "Dinner Reservations". Given that we know that Montessa would eventually have to break up if Vanessa dating Ferb in "Act Your Age" indicates anything, this conversation Vanessa and Monty are having at the end of the episode may actually give us a potential reason WHY they broke up if the staff decides to double down on Ferbnessa. Namely, that they eventually do realize they like messing with their dads more than they like each other, and that this Doofenshmirtz/Monogram rivalry has lost its spark or edge.
Of course, it might mean nothing, given that they decide to like both each other and messing with their dads, but it's still an interesting conversation given the additional context from previous episodes.
When grabbing screenshots, I also just noticed that Vanessa still had an unsure look after their conversation ended, even when grabbing Monty's hand. She wasn't smiling once. It likely doesn't mean anything, but it does give me the feeling that Vanessa still has reservations about her relationship with Monty or if it will last. At the same time, Monty is smiling, so he certainly thinks everything is going to be fine.
Again, maybe it doesn't mean anything, but I do wonder... if Montessa is gonna break up, is Vanessa the one who will break up with Monty? She seems to be the one who is uncertain about the relationship, while Monty doesn't seem to have any issues (it does make him seem kinda clueless, though).
