i agree with the whole tagging ocs/original art as kin being rude. but tagging fanart isnt exactly thief when the characters themselves dont belong to the fanartist? they belong to the series/book/show/whatever. sorry mini ramble
No no, don’t be sorry. Its a good insight! ( I dunno why tumblr didn’t pick this reply up) I mean, you have the artist’s fanart rights/entitlement but... the characters doesn’t really belong to them either. I guess it boils down to respecting the artist’s choice regardless if its a dick reason or not. Personally, I never thought kin tagging as ‘thief’ before today :oc
