Nice! My brother had a few lego sets that I played with more than he did, but we never had the actual meccano. Probably because we always had little kids at home

@commanderbabyface mate, I loved my bucket of lego. All mixed up, gathered over years, you had to tip it all over the floor to find what you wanted. You HAD TO, no choice. This isn’t a place where lucky-dip is gonna help you. Root though the pieces spread across the seven kingdoms like scavengers on a carcass. Take what you can find, what you can’t find is forgotten, move on and adapt. Can’t find a window? Use a door! I loved my lego.

Meccano used to seriously piss me off at times, and I used to have to take very long breaks lest I chuck it all in the bin from frustration, but I still loved it. Who wouldn’t love motors and metal parts with real screws and bolts?!

I'm the owner of the Ao3 comment about forgetting you wrote one of my favorite Carmilla fics :) I kind of wish I would have waited with the AU no one asked for (your words!) until there was some more to binge-read, one chapter was not enough! MORE PLEASE :D (but in a "I love it" way, not a "you only started and I'm pushing for updates" way. I'm not a pusher!)
