The design of the gods surprises me. I was expecting a very different pantheon. yet it seems like (so far) that the amonkhet gods are ver very similar to the theros gods. One puts tokens, the other puts tokens, one deal damage the other deals damage, one gives card advantage the other gives card adavantage. Why design something so similar? the color pie is very big and you could ave reflected other aspects of the color !
The effects of the gods are tied to their win conditions. That design space is tight.

I know there's a cycle of five monocolored legendary creatures. I'm not sure beyond that.
Maro we usually talk about supplemental products as a way to revisit old planes that otherwise wouldn't be possibly to re-do in standard. But we actually have seen few if any cards from those planes, Rath, Mercadia, Ulgrotha,etc they may have a small fan base, but isn't adding a flavor text here and there, some illustration inspired on an older card something rather easy to do? (I mean in a commander set for example) the why don't you guys do it more often?
Rath is gone, overlaid onto Dominaria. And the audiences fie Mercadia and Ulgrotha are very small. Note we have made references to planes like Kamigawa and Lorwyn.
May I request a legendary Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar card? cheff are underrrrepresented in magic. :)
