This was when all us kids learned that the good guys weren't always gonna win even if they were only up against "just" droids

The B-X commando droids, in all their kickass glory. I can remember seeing these guys 15 years ago and actually being intimidated. The first time I ever saw one take a blaster bolt square in the chest and keep right on going is burned into my brain. I don't think I'd run into the concept of an elite mook before, at least not one I'd understood for what it was. And honestly, even calling them mooks at all might be underselling them a bit. They probably would've killed Echo and Fives along with the rest of the outpost if Rex hadn't gotten there to lead them.
