The coolest Commodore 1541 floppy drive I’ve got, using switch-mode power regulators instead of linear ones. The resulting higher efficiency in both reduced power draw and lower heat output is pretty fucking awesome.

I bought yet another 1541 drive. This time, it’s a rainbow label model, however the plastic of the case is the lighter shade associated with the VIC-20. It’s bearings are a bit loud, but it runs fine. I think it goes well with my rainbow label VIC-20. It looks rather nice in my stack of VIC colored drives.
