Whether there will be a longer winter or an earlier spring! Basically everyone's usually sick of the cold and looking for some hopeful sign that it will be warm again soon~

I love the Rooster Teeth Podcast, which is like a comedy/talk show format, with topics that range all over. A good one to try might be #381: Pseudo Dicks. They had a biologist come in and answer all their dumb science questions. It's on iTunes but also on Youtube in video form. I'll also second the Welcome to Night Vale recs! And I also listen to Dear Hank and John, which is a Q&A style where they give dubious advice, although it's actually more of a comedy podcast.

I did Biology at ‘O’ Levels and was always fascinated but never wanted to pursue a career in Science so that’ll be cool! And I ask too many dumb science question so that would probably appeal to me hehe! I’ll find out how to get it on my itunes cause i’m actually shit with technology.

Ah, I saw Dear Hank and John on the app I use, and I generally like both the Green Brothers (from their Crash Course stuff?) so I’m hoping this would be good.

Ooh is this your first time playing any ME games? I tried to get into the first one once and didn’t get far but I really want to :( let me know how it goes!

It’s my first time really playing the first game all the way through. I’ve played the other two and tried this one before, but same, never really got into it. Now I’m playing as my own Custom Shep rather than the Daenerys Shepard I played as before. xD Will do! I will probably post about it here a couple of times! :D

lol same. just spent some time weeping over sad news articles to distract from own deterioration, WOOOOO! Tears are cathartic, no matter the source.

It’s a good thing to remember, is it is cathartic and good to cry, even if its sometimes easier to cry about other stuff than your own trouble. But I definitely feel a lot better, and I hope you do too. <3

Oh dear, what happened? Although at least now you needn't worry about rushing to pack and rushing through training, so that's a plus, right?

Yeah. That's what I'm thinking too. Got more time to do things now. Talked with someone who went there before (FINALLY found someone) who didn't flake out on meeting with me to talk and they pointed out the rushing was a common tactic to get you to not have time to really.............think. I found out the 5-6 weeks thing normally offered, and not knowing when that will be, is not the way it has to be. So....I'm working along with an experienced dude who has informed me you can find good ones multiple months in advance. SO, going to do that. Way more time to do things. And he told me sites to do research and talk with others. Welp...I wasted some money....but live and learn. I'll just take this as a life lesson. Oh, and more time to train too. 

Gotta roll with the punches and try to see the positives in situations like this.
