A Goober is leaving this time! It’s a green-banded Urania moth Goober named Joozey!She’s a pretty one! She decided to go with @cristianstoofff ! She will enjoy her time with them!

As for the rest, I’ll tell a story!!!
Corey and Octavius were walking through the woods, and Octavius was telling Corey about what appeared to be a squirrel-like creature that he had seen near the ranch earlier.
“…and when I tried to get close to it, to try and catch it for you, it scampered towards the woods! So keep your eyes peeled and towards the trees, and hopefully we’ll find it!”
“Gotcha!… Woah!” Corey noticed a small, brown shape moving through the branches right above her and pointed towards it. “Is that it right there?”
Octavius adjusted his spectacles and looked where Corey was pointing. “My stars it IS!!! It’s a little female American Red Squirrel Goober!” Suddenly, Octavius noticed the medical patch on the side of the Goober, and his expression shifted from one of astonishment to one of concern. “Wait a minute… is she injured?”
“Is she?” Corey noticed the patch as well. “Oh no! We gotta get her to Asteria! Quick, lift me up to that tree branch!”
“On it!” Octavius hoisted lifted Corey up to the branch that the Goober was sitting on, and Corey gently had a hold of the Goober when he brought her back down.
The Goober was oddly calm and friendly for the situation that she was in, and she gently nuzzled Corey’s hand.
“Aww. I think she likes me!”
“Splendid! I knew she’d make a lovely companion for you! Now, let us get her to Asteria, with haste!”
Corey and Octavius gently carried the Goober back to the ranch, heading straight for the infirmary. Asteria and Moira the therapy Spugy were waiting inside.
“Hello there Sir Octavius and Miss Corey! What do you have there?”
“A Goober! Me and Octavius found her in the woods, and, we don’t know how, but, she’s injured” Corey held up the Goober, showing Asteria the patch on her side.
“Oh my! I’ll be sure to give that a look. Moira!”
Moira replied with a snort.
“Meet me in the examination room. This little lady will probably need some company.”
Moira let out a reassuring snort and trotted to the examination room. Asteria gently picked up the Goober, making sure not to put any unnecessary pressure on her wound, and walked to the examination room, following Moira.
After a little over an hour, Asteria returned with the Goober, a reassuring smile on her face.
“Good news! She’s perfectly fine and healthy! I checked under her patch, and there were some stitches on her side, but they weren’t bleeding. The wound appeared to be old and well taken care of, which is a good sign. I cleaned up the dried blood from her fur, and gave her a new patch so that she doesn’t chew on her stitches. From the looks of it, the stitches will likely dissolve within a couple of weeks.”
“All sounds well! And, since she seems to be attached to Miss Corey, all that’s left to do is name her, right?”
“Right!” Corey thought for a moment about what she would name the Goober. “How about Hazel?”
Hazel let out a happy chitter as a response.
“Aww. I think she likes it!”
Later, Corey gave Hazel a little flower to wear behind her ear. “You like it? You look so cute!”
Hazel did seem to like her new flower!
Corey had once again found a new friend!!!
Adopted! Hazel accepted her name and is giddy to stay with you!
