I absolutely hate the practice of giving the most amount of time to people near the center of the stage (i.e. those who are polling higher).
It sets a bad standard of reinforcing the more popular candidates, the elites. Its purposefully set not to be fair, but if you want the best candidate, you give them all the same stage instead of making the ones with the smaller names have to climb twice as hard.
And that's coming from me, who thinks there should be stricter standards to get some of these white men on the edge off the stage.
