I love the idea of Jayce joining the commune, in the little AU in my head, the war; Piltover vs Zaune still rages, which could pose a threat to the peaceful inhabitants of the commune. In my concept, Jayce acts as the defender (little nod to LOL Jayce) circling the boarders making sure the war stays out of the gentle paradise Viktor has built.
Though weapons are strictly prohibited, I’m sure he’d find a way around that, to better insure the safety of the commune.
In this AU, Jayce never travelled to the bad timeline, but the constant threat of war just outside the safe haven's walls and the notion that Ambessa and Piltover would go to great lengths to have Viktor’s power for themselves eating away at him, caused him to become a paranoid mess.
Or if the commune’s inhabitants were sheep, Viktor would be the Shepard and Jayce would be his Mastiff.
