If you want to get someone higher on your own, be prepared to get there at a much slower pace and time than if you had a team of people around you working with you and helping you along the way. We have been taught to network and seek to meet people to build our network but this year I want you to do things a bit differently. Don’t just network. Seek to build meaningful connections that would give value to the people you meet and vice versa. Sometimes, just being around people that are smarter than you in some key areas is all you need to move to the next level. Upgrade your life and your value and use it to benefit others and the law of reciprocity will eventually work in your favour.
