“that’s not fair!”
@torturedbrilliance | send “that’s not fair!” and i’ll write how a scene between our muses would play out from that line.
“Too kriffing bad, Skykid Three. Like it or not, that’s how this works.”
Ahsoka crossed her arms over her chest, struggling not to smile at the sheer indignation in that reaction. His argument was a fair reaction, to be honest, and if this weren’t the sixth time she’d argued about it maybe she’d be more lenient. But honestly. They were in the middle of a sparring room and there weren’t any practice sabers around. What did he expect his outrage to do?
“Were you alive when the Jedi were? No. Was Luke? No. None of your instructors were, except me, and all of the holocrons you have were made for adults. Them having proper lightsabers for katas does not mean you can use one to practice. I’ll let you use mine–at the lowest setting, with supervision–if you’re good, but we have a truly stunning lack of practice sabers and too few crystals to let someone your age make their own if it’ll just be used for practice. So pick up a staff, and practice. If you can master the basic ones soon I’ll show you the variations for special ‘sabers.”
