CommuniCon is taking a break this year.
Hey Human Beings. Some of you know this, and many of you have probably guessed, but there won’t be a CommuniCon in 2015. I’ve thought a lot about this for a very long time, and I just can’t make it happen this year. The job I started just after 2014′s CommuniCon averages 60 hours a week - many of which are filled with unexpected urgencies - and a lot of travel around the country, including two different trips to the east coast in October, so it’s just not possible for me to plan and run the CommuniCon that we would all want.
Many people have graciously offered to help, but unfortunately there are just too many major aspects of the planning process that can’t really be delegated to a group of people. I really appreciate the offers though. You guys are the best.
I fully intend to bring it back in 2016 if there’s still interest. And we all know very well that a third season hiatus doesn’t mean the end.
