In an age with a global blogosphere and social networking only a finger flick away, it’s almost impossible to avoid the media’s portrayal of fashion and a large portion of those that do, still find themselves caught within the grasp of sub genre’s in an attempt to express there own concept of individualism.
However with all the personality, character and culture about ourselves, why do so many of us follow the same generic guide lines and trends? Is this a positive thing? Can fashion get any doper? Have we lost our self identities? Or are we just retail fiends, looking to find a place in a constantly changing world?... Personally, I don’t know, lol, as a collective we feel like we design freely, but these are just a handful of the questions brought to the table by people surrounding our movement.
So with that, we thought we’d delve a little deeper and reach out to those involved within the "fashion community", from the label owners to the customers, to the swagnificent folk that aided us with the production of our own brand. We’d find out what peoples pre conceived thoughts were about the industry, whilst also shedding light and re introducing some inspirational individuals and movements, in a micro project we’ve labelled
