“I have a right to be angry." (open door plan!fritters)
“I know you do, but I just don’t want you to be, it’s not that big of a deal.” she shrugged lightly, her lips pursing slightly. “We just fight a lot, sometimes he says mean things like that to me but it’s just because he’s angry and I guess he has a like, right to be angry too. Lord Tubbington brought his leather jacket in his litter box and didn’t poop out kit kats. He should have gotten angry at Lord T instead of me but it’s okay, he just made a mistake, you don’t have to be upset with him.” she added. Brittany hated when people yelled, whether it was at her or not, she hated hearing voices raised, so it was almost an immediate instinct to run to her neighbor’s - and old kinda/sorta roommate’s - for comfort after the big fight she’d had with her boyfriend. It was a little different since her boyfriend had made her close the door and end the open door plan she had with Finn. Brittany was used to being able to just waltz into his apartment, especially when she had bad dreams. She couldn’t do that now and it was like, super duper lame. Lamer than Finn not wanting bunk beds because he was too tall.
She moved closer to him on the couch and platonically - yeah, totally platonically - tipped her head onto his shoulder. She ran her hand up his arm and drew out a heavy breath before speaking again. “I think it’s really nice and sweet and cool and not lame that you care about me but it’s okay, I don’t want you to be angry, please, please, please don’t be angry?” she pleaded, her doe eyes looking up at Finn’s gaze. “He’s already angry, and I think Lord T is angry too because he’s not pooping chocolates anymore and both of those already make me sad, I don’t need you being angry too, then I’ll be even more sad and I don’t want to be sad.” It was hard being sad while she was in Finn’s presence, but with everything going on in her relationship she could barely remember what being happy was even like anymore, but she could bring that up another time.
