The BMW Group, which is the co-organizer of the event since 1999, presented the 1970 concept of Garmisch recreated from scratch. This mysterious and unknown car disappeared immediately after its premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in 1970. To recreate the concept of Garmisch, BMW asked for help its developer, the master of Italian car design Marcello Gandini.
