Taking a work break to install some new tires. Compass Barlow Pass 700x38c's. Running them with tubes for now to stretch them and later I'm going to experiment with juicing them with Orange Seal. Also took the opportunity to de-sticker my Alpha340's. Surprised I still have clearance. This is possible incentive for 45c Jack Browns in the future when I can shred on the reg?
Where do i get my upass/compass card at the UBC Robson center? Thanks!
I don’t know exactly, but I think there are machines with “Upass” on them. If not, you can just ask the information desk or reception. I know before, you had to go to the desk to pick it up, but that was with the old paper ones.
regarding the anon asking if you tap out or not.. we have the choice of not tapping out?! -confused international student
Yeah, you technically don’t have to tap out. Right now, tapping out is mostly just for gathering data. I just like to think of it as finishing what I’ve started, and I don’t like to leave things unfinished! =P

Do you know if summer students are only able to get Compass cards on May 16, or can all students get it?
I’m pretty sure it’s just summer students:

Boo to Translink.
Just read in the free daily newspaper today (Metro Vancouver – Wednesday July 31st, 2013 front page)
“Free rides over soon, alongside Employer Pass”
That was the title. Summary of the whole article? Basically Tranlink is being a greedy money loving…
