シクロクロス茨城は雪のレースに。初めての雪上走行でしたが、足らないのはテクニックと体力だけ(笑)何よりも自転車が楽しい。この気持ちを忘れないようにしたい。 I enjoyed bicycle race (cyclocross) on snow today. You can see snow on my tire,hahaha. #ride #cxibaraki #ibarakicx #茨城シクロクロス #シクロクロス茨城#cyclocross #スノークロス #自転車楽しい#anchor #bicycle by matsukawa0928 http://ift.tt/23lKizU
Plum crazy
Holy shit MNR progress
Forgot to post this, scored a really good deal on some AC Hurricane track wheels. Might paint the frame and get some nicer brake levers, but other than that, I think I'm a a good end point with this bike.
Scored a really good deal on a 32h Phil Wood to Open Pro this weekend and put the Capo back together --no excuse not to now. Put my worn Hutchinson Sectors on it. Unfortunately I only had one tube that held air so I've got the alpha400 + Hutchinson tubeless 25c from the Klein on it now (kush). I'm used to cruising at 12-18mph when I'm not pushing it but this thing really wants 18-21mph all the time. 47x16 gearing for now, probably explains the speed. I'm planning on putting drop levers and an 18t on it for training. Also rode the NY century with some of the gang on Sunday. Rain held out until the last 5 miles but we had a blast anyway. Got Shakeshack at GC and some celebration beers (one for the road too).
Historical Reenactment bike at modern inflation price. There are a lot of specific parts Bianchi had to source for this which probably contribute to the price. The pay-to-play attitude it portrays makes me wonder if it deflates the L’Eroica ethos however. Not that I’ve checked recently but I’m sure five large would net you a nice eBay find with actual history and/or patina.

Taking a work break to install some new tires. Compass Barlow Pass 700x38c's. Running them with tubes for now to stretch them and later I'm going to experiment with juicing them with Orange Seal. Also took the opportunity to de-sticker my Alpha340's. Surprised I still have clearance. This is possible incentive for 45c Jack Browns in the future when I can shred on the reg?
A few others from ME
Climbed a big hill last week on a 5 day trip through ME to NH and ending in VT. First to the top, first down in the squad. Super fun descent, I definitely want to go back and climb from the other side as well.

72 mile sufferfest today
Matchy.
John Kerry has good taste in bikes.
New chain, cables and housing. Some newish Stronglight rings on there too. Switched to TRP mini v's. So power. Much stop.
Two new wheelsets from Zipp, the 30 Course tubeless-ready and tubular variants, bring more options for disc-brake road…
Steve Hed (RIP) may be dead, but Zipp is still playing catch-up in terms of things that are aluminum and tubeless.
