I got to try it last weekend @whiskyfest and though I am not really a #peatedwhisky guy I really enjoyed the pour. Meeting John Glaser and hanging out with him definitely was a highlight of #whiskyfest, we need more people in #whisky like him that are pushing the limits. #throwbackthursday to this #compassboxwhisky photo shoot. I am playing with the idea of redoing my #whiskycollection storage situation and I do know once I figure it out my #compassboxwhiskyco collection will get more space for sure. Pre 2019 Compass Box was almost like a secret to the US whisky market but end of 2018 I was at #whiskyfest in #sanfrancisco and their legendary brand ambassador @scotchellis introduced me the brand. I was a busy show but he spent quality time with me going through some of their core #blendedscotchwhisky and I was intrigued. I then had dinner with him and we tried some older bottles like these and I have was hooked. I started collecting pretty much then and I definitely was lucky to get some of the older bottles. That same trip I hung out with @whiskymonster and we went over to San Francisco legendary bar @elixirsf and we enjoyed some #compassboxthegeneral and to this day in my top 3 #blendedscotch I have drank.
