it’s a familiar feeling; calm in the absolute absence of it. he knows where each man stands, where their next move will be, what aim they’re taking. there is one variable he is unsure of, and that it the man a few feet behind him. it was not an issue of trust, but rather his unfamiliarity with what the lightsaber and the force were capable of. jedi was not a term that he grew up with, or fancied himself as a child.
it does seem that they are on the same page, as they glance at each other when their is a noise. something more familiar to roman, and he rushes luke and throws him down before the blast can take them out. a brief pause before he moves off the other man.
