Greene Square, Savannah Georgia by Mat Marrash Via Flickr: One of my favorite places in all of the South to go visit is Savannah, GA. With each trip, I find myself concentrating more and more on the presence of those gorgeous live oaks so carefully preserved throughout it's downtown area. One afternoon while Lauren was paying a visit to the Blick Art Materials, I took the 8x10 for an exploratory visit downtown. Every few blocks, there's a new square with it's own personality and stunning live oaks. Greene square had a lesser concentration of live oaks than some others, so a slightly longer focal length and closer working distance was needed to convey the same feeling.
