Would love to know how to get a 6IV ditto, and if I hatch a mon with great IVs (like 5IV) if I can just level them up and they’ll be perfect, or do I need to do something specific so their stats don’t mess up? And what the heck should I use bottle caps for? Anything at all if they’re already 5 or 6IV? Ima hot mess x’D

- I’m actually working on the 6iv ditto thing myself. Without hacking, it’s a little difficult but you can get guaranteed 4iv or higher dittos from max raids. Here’s the tutorial I’m following (from about 8:30 on)

- On raising Pokemon, if they have 5 great ivs (so your sp attackers have hp, def, sp atk, sp def, and speed as perfect and physical attackers have hp, atk, def, sp def, speed), that’s great.
After that, you want to look at making sure they have the right nature (which we can change with mints in swsh). You’re generally going to want to look for something that boosts the stat you want your Pokemon to specialize in and takes away from the phy atk stat for sp attackers and from the sp atk stat for physical attackers.
Then, the last thing you need are evs. Basically, you pick two stats you want to max out. Then, you use the vitamin items (calcium, protein, etc) to increase those stats in the Pokemon. Each Pokemon can take 26 of two vitamins (so 52 total).
- Bottle caps are there to help if your Pokemon isn’t 5/6iv c: I would use those on shinys to make them competitive
