//I logged in today so fuck you this is an active blog
//This is the one post I don’t have any problem with getting reblogged.
Today I’m frustrated at the state of affairs I find the FMA community in, because I know that when it can be good, it’s really good. However, some people take it upon themselves to make sure that people are ostracized from the community on basis of fiction alone.
This isn’t new, this happens every year here in the FMA community, though it usually happens in the winter in the northern hemisphere. It’s late this year, thanks to the fact that instead of the popularity of the series peaking in summer, it did so in the winter and now the fallout is happening in spring. Every year. This happens every year.
I’m not here to tell you it needs to stop, but I will be saying that without exception, I will be blocking and refusing to acknowledge anyone who polices someone else’s content, no matter what it is. I know that I have no power to control someone else’s blogs and I’m not about to go looking for that.
I’m here today on tumblr to write the things I couldn’t write on forum RPs that where aimed at children. I am not writing a child safe blog, and while I tone own threads FOR people I’m writing with, my overall content is as dark and gritty and depressing as the themes of having a character like Hohenheim suggest.
Recently I was reading a book series, and if you’re easily squicked, I suggest you skip this paragraph and go onto the next one. In this book, two siblings were fighting each other in a war. Death hung in the air and the blood made mud out of the dirt in the ground. The brother tore out the throat of his sister only to collapse and die on top of her as his body failed as he bleed out. They killed each other in the most horrifying way possible.
The book series? Warrior cats. For children. Yes, we get an on page death of siblings killing each other in a children’s book about cute kitties. The next book everyone caught the plague.
So if your argument is that it isn’t safe for children, that’s fine, but remember that the people on tumblr aren’t making money for writing their shit and the book about the kitties is. My content isn’t for children. My ships aren’t for children. Don’t argue that the Babus need protection because Tumblr is a practically LAWLESS land and if you want something better I hear you can make forums easy these days. Go there and make your own goddamn community with your rules.
//A WILD STARTER CALL APPEARED
//I just realized I’ve never done a drabble on why Hohenheim didn’t start a family in Xerxes
“Hey aang have you ever tried NOT being annoying when you return to a blog” No, next question
