Santana sighs, “But why does my costume look like a giant gay pride flag.” She kicks at the cardboard with her foot as Brittany frowns. “Because Lady Rainicorn is Jake’s girlfriend,” Brittany reaches for her and tugs her closer. “And you’re my girlfriend.” “Not for much longer,” Santana huffs, and then laughs when Brittany just rolls her eyes.

She’s got her eyes closed, trying to concentrate on the music, when Brittany pokes her, and when she opens her eyes all she can see if Brittany’s sweatpants, hanging off her hips in this way that shouldn’t be allowed. “Did you want to go and get lunch?” Brittany asks once Santana pulls the headphones down, and Santana’s hands twitch with the effort of not reaching for her hips. “Not really,” Santana says, honestly. Brittany smirks. “Okay,” she says, and then her knees are pressing down into the couch cushions either side of Santana’s hips. This is definitely better than food.
