I am! She’s a fluffy orange cat named Raja. My friend is moving out of her grandparents’ house and can’t keep her so she asked if I wanted to adopt her so I said yes. I’ve been wanting to get another cat anyway, so it works out. I’m going over Monday to pick her up. I’m so excited!

Yeah, I decided I’ll start with the Minecraft Sky Factory play through those clips earlier were from and go from there. I used to watch their Minecraft videos while working in the computer lab back in Idaho. So maybe going back to that, familiar to help ease me back in.

Deus ex: human rev for the meme, assuming you haven't got it already XD

the character i least understand: Megan Reed. She either knew what Adam was when she started dating him (which gives rise to the question of whether she was just using him all along), or she broke up with him once she realized but kept using his genetic material without his knowledge or consent anyway. Whichever way you slice it, it’s fucked up and upsetting and I Do Not Like It

interactions i enjoyed the most: TEAM SARIF!!! particularly Adam and Frank, because…well. Obviously

the character who scares me the most: Darrow is obviously meant to be frightening, but personally I’m a lot more scared of people like David Sarif: well-intentioned people who believe the ends – their ends – absolutely justify the means, no matter who gets chewed up in the process. I’ve talked a lot about how upset the consent issues in this game made me, and most of that lies squarely at the feet of Megan and Sarif

the character who is mostly like me: Adam and I are definitely both the “to be perfectly honest, I’d rather be hanging out with my dog than socializing” friend

hottest looks character: Adam Jensen may be the saddest dorito, but he is also the handsomest

one thing i dislike about my fave character: Pritchard’s an asshole. I love him to death, but…wow, he is definitely an asshole

one thing i like about my hated character: at the end of the day, Sarif was an idealist and a humanist. I guess he did what he thought was right, even though it was absolutely the wrong thing to do

a quote or scene that haunts me: I still cry about the title sequence, I’m not gonna lie. it is so good and so powerful and it upsets me a lot (in a good way). also, the ending where Adam stays in Panchaea. that fucks me up but GOOD

a death that left me indifferent: the first version of the game I played wasn’t the Director’s Cut, so the initial boss fights were such an agonizing slog that I mostly just felt a sense of profound relief when they were done

a character i wish died but didn’t: this is another one of those games where I feel weird wishing death on any of the characters, even though a lot of them are AWFUL people

my ship that never sailed: I have no idea what you’re talking about, in my version of the game Adam survives and Frank survives and they have a very weird and awkward courtship that neither of them acknowledges until they’re basically living together and having lots of incredibly satisfying sex
