Hello. I have noticed that, normally, I feel fine/relaxed after solving that is bogging me in my way (as an INFJ), but if I read later some of the asks directed to ENFPs they give me an emotional boost. It feels like a charge of energy that I was lacking and helps me seal the problem and let it go easier by giving me hope.
It has something to do with complementary functions? if so, could you please explain how does it works?
Don't forget that complementary functions share the same foundation, e.g., Ne and Ni are both N functions, thus, they will show some basic similarities. All Ns need to feel hope for the future and, thus, seek out new ideas to be inspired by. Ne and Ni only differ in HOW they perceive and process the ideas.
Complementary opposites share the same order of cognitive processes (NFTS). This means:
1) There is likely to be a lot of overlap in their belief and value systems. For example, both types tend to care very deeply about exploring and realizing human potential.
2) They are likely to respond similarly to emotional triggers. For example, both types tend to have difficulty handling negativity.
3) They are likely to share similar looking personality issues and problems. For example, both types tend to rationalize their feelings and appear icy when in tertiary loop.
