At my first Otakon, I saw a bunch of people dancing and I nervously asked if they would do Caramelldansen(sp). They didn't really seem to want to, but I probably looked desperate because they ended up doing it.
It was only for a minute but I videotaped it and...
And it was awful. They obviously didn't want to, and I hated that they'd felt compelled to dance it.
I haven't liked Caramelldansen since then. Not because the song is dumb (even though it is), but because every time I listen to it I can feel that shame and awkwardness all over again.
