So as I wan’t happy with the non response the BBC gave regarding the airing of The Musketeers so I sent them a following up asking them to give me the explanation I’d asked for in my first message.

Basically coz it’s funded with BBC worldwide they can decide when it airs (as far as I can tell BBC worldwide is reponsible for the sale of the show to the networks currently airing it), The bit that really annoyed me is the bit quoted below:

“However, at the present time we simply do not have a date for the broadcast of series three in the United Kingdom.“

The BBC can’t tell me when a programme funded by every single license payer in the country will air here! And they wonder why people object to paying a license fee!
