Wash, have you ever wondered why the Director doesn't let the AIs speak to each other? I have some ideas.

What? Well— Yeah, I guess I’ve always thought it was kind of strange, but there has to be a reason for it, right? He wouldn’t disallow it for no reason.

I don’t think it’s really such a good idea to question it or come to your own conclusions about it, though. We should just trust him on it, shouldn’t we?

((Yep. Yepyepyepyepyep. That's exactly me, too. I guess just because it's such a small fandom, you say one wrong thing, and you get completely fucked. Or it feels that way, at least? Hm. Lies

((During the Project, Wash doesn’t like to lie unless he feels it’s something necessary in a situation, and he’s not great at it. After, however, he cares less about whether ‘lying is wrong’ and shouldn’t be done. He doesn’t care if he has to lie, because after all this time, why not lie a little back. He manages to lie about not knowing anything about what happened to Alpha if only to keep himself alive, to keep them for killing him for the knowledge, and they buy it. He realizes that lying has it’s advantages, and when you just don’t care anymore, they’re a damn good way of getting people to do what you want. Not to mention for keeping yourself and others alive.))
