Works for Me
What appears above is a Power Point slide that I used to create a picture for a melee scene. There are a large number of individuals most of whom are in motion at any one time and I needed to keep track of who was where and doing what. Don’t bother with the details. This is just a suggestion for how you can go about choreographing those really complex scenes. Select shapes and colours for various characters or groups of characters and then using drag and drop you can move them where you want them. I had to move back and forth from my Word document to this many times but I managed to complete the scene to my satisfaction. It takes time and looks awkward but it works for me.
