Day 6: Complexion Reduction: A New Trend In Mobile Design
A new trend called complexion reduction that has been adopted by many of Silicon Valley’s big companies.
Definition and secret sauce:
1. Bigger, bolder headlines.
2. Simpler more universal icons. (Simple, thin recognizable icons)
3. Extraction of color. (Remove color and make it black and white. Can have one to indicate action)
4. Double white space.
5. Make your App icon brighter. (Where you can show your personality)
Apps are going to look the same as they are the same app.
UX designer’s wireframes are more and more close to the ultimate App’s look.
