For someone who had a tendency to bury himself under mountains of work, Spanner somehow managed to be quite the endearing person when he wanted to be--perhaps even without trying.
Regardless, such a quality doesn't go unnoticed, or unappreciated for that matter, a mild warmth filling the petite rain's face when the pieces gradually snap together and the smile returns with a renewed sense of ingenuity, a chime of laughter ringing out.
