These are a collection of photos and quotes from private high school commencement ceremonies.  They are intended to provide insight into the mindset and mechanics of a commencement ceremony at a private high school institution, with many from boarding schools on the east coast (analogous in student body to a school like Hogwarts).  The photos are from Lawrenceville, Andover, and The Branson School.  All commencement quotes are retrieved from an Andover commencement archive from 2009.

This is an analogous situation in that this is a target age group of private boarding school students who are going through a transition in leaving their school.  This school is located in the United States but has similar characteristics to those of Hogwarts:  diverse student population (purebloods, muggle-born, etc), teaches a variety of disciplines and students board there during the school year.
