#compostdrawing + composting questions!? Happy Earth Day - lets nourish the things that nourish us. Today the sun, a slow walk, a new moon, yoga, a movement drawing class and some creative juice really helped me out- I hope you felt it too a and 🤞it continues. This was a super day for me. Now....you may have heard this week #dsny sadly has temporarily suspended curbside and drop-off compost collections. I totally get the need and look forward to it’s return (nyc is lucky to have it in the places we do....look forward to expand in the reopen). In the meantime I will still be saving, freezing, and continue with my #compostpainting - so THOUGHTS? 1) any bklyn peps with yards compost? I could do a SD bike ride over with my little bag to contribute? 2) any thoughts on apt composting- I’m up for buying worms but I don’t think the bin would turn over quickly enough ? #compostdrawing .....rather then the big freezer collection ......a little drawings of the remnants of last nights dinner #beetandavacadosalad with #orangeoniondressing . Can yesterday’s scraps fertilize growth in both the dirt and mind? Definitely thinking about how much of my compost is the outer shell- the protective layer that is peeled away so you can get the good stuff beneath.
