Alt-House Productions’ FROM THE SHADOWS signs with Compound B for International Sales and announces their 2023 Slate.
Alt-House Productions has signed with International Film Sales Agent Compound B (a division of Bleiberg Entertainment) to represent the international sales rights to their feature From The Shadows.
After a cult mass suicide, DR. AMARA ROWAN (Selena Anduze), is contacted by the survivors of the cult founded by DR. JOSEPH CAWL (Bruce Davison) and DR. LEONARD BERTRAM (Keith David), to uncover the truth, but that truth could make her the next victim.
Directed by Mike Sargent (Hook'd Up, Bad Boys: A Documentary) with a screenplay by Mike Kuciak, the feature is being produced by Michael Alden, Ian Holt and Kuciak of Alt House Productions in partnership with PFG Films. The film stars Bruce Davison (Willard, X-Men), Keith David (The Thing, Nope) and Selena Anduze (WandaVision, Doctor Sleep). Special Effects Make-Up designed by the legendary Vincent J. Guastini (I Am Legend, World War Z). Sound Design by Academy Award Winning Sound Editor, Cecelia Hall (Hunt For Red October, Top Gun) with a score by composer Alan Howarth (Halloween 2-6, Escape From New York).

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop, Alt House Productions, the horror-centric production company is deviating from its horror slate to bring the never-before-told story of how Ed Lover, Doctor Dre, and T Money of the famed Yo! MTV Raps, became the voices of a movement that would inspire a culture to change the world.
With uncensored access to music and political royalty the six-part docuseries will provide a front row seat to the life changing and world changing events that were inspired by hip hop and those who built and benefitted from the music and the movement that followed. The Docuseries in being directed by Nicole Januarie from Januarie 1st Productions.

A young woman is invited to spend her house arrest alone at a secluded home on the edge of a forest, dark and deep. This last chance for redemption becomes a terrifying battle to the death when the young woman finds herself hunted by an ancient Pagan evil that seeks to devour her soul. Screenplay by Ian Holt and Ryan Kelly who will also direct the film.

IAN HOLT – Founder/Partner
Ian is the co-author, with Dacre Stoker, of the international best seller, “Dracula The Un-Dead”, the official sequel to Bram Stoker's classic 1897 novel, “Dracula.” To date, “Dracula The Un-Dead” has sold more than two million copies worldwide and was nominated for “Best First Horror Novel” by The Thriller Awards. Ian wrote and produced the supernatural thriller, “Episode 50”, co-produced by Ehud Bleiberg and Compound B. Ian penned and will produce the horror feature “Cursed” starring Mickey Rourke and Lindsay Lohan, directed by Steven R. Monroe (“I Spit On Your Grave”). Ian is also producer of “Death Metal” in post-production and the story writer and producer of the new horror feature “From The Shadows” starring Bruce Davison (“Willard”, “X-Men”), Selena Anduze (“Doctor Sleep”, Marvel’s “WandaVision”) and Keith David (John Carpenter’s “The Thing”, Jordan Peele’s “Nope”).
MICHAEL KUCIAK – Founder/Partner
Michael Kuciak served as the Senior Vice President of Development for a management production company, after which he left to focus on his own work. Mike is the writer-director-editor of “Death Metal”, a feature film currently in post-production. He also served as a producer on a horror-comedy called, “Killer Party”, and executive producer on “All for Nikki”, a thriller. Mike has directed a variety of short films and music videos. His award-winning horror short, “Stairs,” is making the festival rounds. Mike is also an author; “Dead City Chicago,” the first in a series of zombie horror- thriller novels, was released in 2020. Mike is a partner of Alt-House Productions (which has Mickey Rourke and Lindsey Lohan attached to star in the forthcoming supernatural thriller, “Cursed”), and is the founder/CEO of a physical production company, Blast Furnace Media.
