Training and troubleshooting
Finally was able to submit my accommodations request. Now I have to wait 10 days if I need to appeal. Less stress but still stressed
₊✩‧₊˚౨ৎ˚₊✩‧₊ beginning of the semester post !! ₊✩‧₊˚౨ৎ˚₊✩‧₊
hello all! since the fall semester has finally arrived, I hope to resume a consistent posting schedule so I can document my progress in both my academic and personal life! I went on an unexpected hiatus due to some personal and financial troubles over the summer, but I am now back on track!
for starters, while I am only taking 13 credit hours, I will be working 25-40 hours per week along with 2 extracurricular commitments (which roughly translates to 6 extra hours of time). whew!
I am taking:
principles of accounting II business communications programming software solutions systems analysis and design career readiness
i have also accepted a position as the chair of data management for a renewable energy organization on my college campus. i am so so grateful to have the opportunity to apply my skills to contribute to a good cause! I love my team so far and I am so grateful I get to work with such a talented group of people! I will also continue my role as a technology administrator for club on my college campus for students in my major. this role is relatively low commitment but I'm still looking forward to it!
lastly, I am working towards my comptia network+ certification, which I hope to have by the middle of next month!
while I am taking on a lot of work this semester, I feel confident that with the right amount of discipline I can manage it. if anything, I feel so blessed to have the opportunities that I have right now which allow me grow as a person and get outside of my comfort zone!
that's all I have right now, so bye bye! (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
I want to be more disciplined this year. I want to hold myself to working and learning.
I think if I just pick like three things: Godot, Blender modeling, and CompTIA, then maybe I can get somewhere.
But then again, they say 30 minutes a day is good for learning, but would I be expected to do each thing for 30 minutes every day? That feels like it'd be overwhe quickly. But if I don't do something again every day, won't I forget things instead of learning?
It's 2:31 am as I write this, even though it'll be posted later. Maybe I can come back to the topic with a clearer head. I know how my brain overcomplicates things.
