Celebrated my 31.5 birthday in Paris @ Comptoir General.
Le Comptoir Général, Paris
Manish Arora backstage / April 16
Virginie, my former roommate and colleague and my wonderful host in Paris this week. At the Comptoir General. Day 202.
After seven years I finally got a chance to travel again, and I went to Paris! My dad always drew his postcards by himself and I thought, it would be great to continue this tradition. :)
My favorite motive was ‘Jardin Kahn’, especially the japanese part. Really lovely parc, even when it´s raining. So, if you have the chance, go there, you will like it! I also did two drawings of ‘le comptoir general’. The place was so fascinating and really really relaxing, especially after three days of “Tourist Paris”. I also bought a pair of shoes in the ghetto museum there. They are beautiful and I love them! The other postcards are way more touristic: Eiffel Tower, view out of my hotel room (Malakoff) and the ‘Seine’. All of the postcards are already sent to my friends and family. BUUUT, I also went to the ‘Anti Café’, where you get free drinks, food, internet, scanner(!) and other entertaining stuff, the only thing you need to do is paying for your stay there. (4 € per hour. Fucking worth it!) And scanned my stuff there! Overall it was an awesome trip and I am a little sad it´s already over. Paris ftw!
Projection du documentaire You Can Touch My Hair | Mercredi 2 juillet 2014 à partir de 19h au Comptoir Général
