"Nothing," he huffed in annoyance.  "I am not a fox, my prey does not get buried.  Ask the local dogs,"  He raised his chin haughtily.

              §-- "I wish I could ask the local dogs, but                        most of them don't know how to talk."

   The clairvoyant shrugged, a light, pursed smirk on her face, as if she were being serious. But she wasn't -- no dogs could speak. Peter could, but he was also human. Again, her legs carried her to the window, and with a small lean, chin tilted upwards, eyes down towards the ground, she again inspected the disturbed ground.
