“There is no beauty without wonder, and no wonder without a little madness” (Becca Lee) - Beauty, wonder, and a TON of madness is what gets Jabami Yumenko’s blood flowing, which she achieves through gambling, the ultimate form of euphoria, in Hayashi Yuichiro’s Anime adaptation of Kawamoto Homura’s Manga, “Kakegurui” (Compulsive Gambler). 😈🎰 Risking one’s wealth, social status, and ultimately his/her very life is the true essence of gambling, a philosophy Jabami Yumeko, the compulsive gambler herself, lives by wholeheartedly. The thrill, madness, and euphoric nature of taking risks is such an intriguing concept explored brilliantly in the 1st Season of a series yours truly is completely hooked on, and can’t wait to binge-watch through the 2nd Season! 😃The story, characters, setting, tone, suspense, and my personal favorite of the show’s amazing qualities, the gorgeous animation, all amount to what is one of my new favorite anime(s) of all-time! 😁🤘🏻The animation in particular is quite something, going from eye-numbingly luscious to insane as all hell, which perfectly emphasizes the stress, anxiety, despair, and sheer madness the gamblers experience. As a man who has a keen interest in human psychology and how the mind functions under extreme pressure, witnessing people’s slow but gradual degradation and turn to madness is always an absolute joy, which is a feeling Yumeko-chan pretty much shares. That makes us kindred spirits in a way, wouldn’t you say? 😂😏 Hehe #Kakegurui #CompulsiveGamblers #TheArtOfGambling #RiskingItAll #NoGreaterThrillThanTakingRisks #MadnessIsABliss https://www.instagram.com/mrgamer990/p/BsjLad3jbuX/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1bxwohlcfiwth
