It was difficult to think of a character with no arms, but thankfully inspiration came to me in the form of Arthurian legend. Calibourne is a walking sword in the stone who’s grown tired of waiting for a true king to arrive. Therefore, he’s set out to find his champion himself, no matter what obstacles stand in his way. The bouncing ball assignment, but in computer animation! Even a simple animation assignment like this in Maya was fascinating to learn about, and fun to make. October 2020
