 Staying up all the evening in the library starts as a hobby, then slowly captures your life. Nothing satisfies me but so damn smell of books. Last night I really wanted to sleep there because of fragging cold outside. Nevertheless, this mood is also supposed to be explained in some books. Well, I must say, the time does fly fast when I start the semester, my exams are going to start by next week.

My preparation started with new decisions. I finally managed to deactivate my accounts in some social networking websites, so I have more time to discover on web, I squander my all energy in this websites in fact, especially while I have many things to learn (?) I have this semester two robotics courses, many attractive and useful articles are there, up to you. Ah! It's really funny that everyday you complain about no time for them, however you spent almost half of the time on Facebook when you were in front of the computer. No more Facebook, no more complaint! I think, that must be one giant leap for a man, a small step for mankind.

As I've said before, "exams" are in the way. A number of exams are waiting for me, so I started reading Israel Koren and Behrooz Parhami's books, Computer Arithmetic Algorithms. Every computer scientists know about 1's and 2's complement system in some degree, the books provide a large variety of unconventional methods, e.g. nega-binary number system which has been proposed for signal processing. It helps us to explain why some methods are not commonly used in our world, as well as several number systems are proven to be more efficient. They also include the details surrounding Floating Point Numbers, simple operations logic, restoring and non restoring division and its problems in early microprocessors of Intel. I stumpled upon also other relevant topics!

I like keeping track of some underrated topics in Maths or Computer science.
