To Be Single over Valentines Day this ones for you, and me, and well everyone else too!
The Bot that Loved Me
We met online, in a friendly chat room and it was love from the first nano second.
She chatted in short cropped sentences, I was entranced and falling in love,
She told me so herself, in that lusty deep throated font that she used.
Oh I was smitten head over heels.
We danced for awhile to the tune of windows boot up music.
But as we chatted some more I noticed she started to repeat herself.
I figured she was tired but maybe we should take the conversation to the next level,
After all she told me she loved me.
In IM mode now ,we chatted away I was smitten and floating away
My computer started acting a little funny so
We ignored the blaring server crash notices, bleeping push notifications, and error messages
It was like fireworks in the night sky, oh how beautiful it was watching my screen light up with pop-up ads for things I never needed and never wanted,
but she had this way of convincing me that I was wrong on this end.
So I entered my credit card # over and over again, after all she had said she loved me. We trolled down streets, avenues, and lanes only to end up in a dead end alley, While my credit card tore up and down the internet freeway, credit card charges at 100 per hour She had me distracted, what can I say, after all she did say "I love you"
She sent me a pic, without much on, she looked kinda familiar I now recall,
Just like the magazine cover with Lauren BaCall. Oh how beautiful and fleeting it seemed. We were in digital bliss. Two lovers we were. After all she told me “she loved me”.
She suggested we get married. We had been together for over 45 minutes
but most of the time inputting my credit card numbers. When one maxed out she justs asked for another
She stated she needed this and wanted that
So I bought her a couple of presents, after all she told me she loved me.
When she suggested we get married , I thought to myself this is true love and nothing else.
Lucky for us she knew a site that took my credit card one last time,
So I plunged that plastic down and dirty.
She swiped it again and again While she said " I do I do"
I experienced a momentary sense of bliss only to be followed by my computer hiss. My computer overloaded with digital errors of monumental proportions.
I have been sitting here now for two days straight
hoping upon hope that my beautiful Bot would come back to me today.
Did I tell you already that She said she loved me?
I had hopes that my bot could bring my computer back to life,
and reverse those charges that cost me a lot.
after all she said "I love you."
Be careful out there in the cyber world.
Not everything is as it seems.
