It honestly makes me terribly sad. And it also pains me a lot that it's pretty much all Eon's lack of relevance in the series' fault. If he had his own arc in Omniverse we could have awesome interactions between them! Like what if Paradox somehow is an important aspect of Eon's backstory????? Something about Eon blaming Paradox for his own doom (not totally wrong, but it’s like 80% Eon’s fault)
The wiki lists them as archnemesis but HOW????? I know there was this pop-up from the movie and it’s logical since Eon tries conquering dimensions but STILL. They barely have any meaningful interactions other than those ridiculous fights (surprisingly ridiculous bc of Paradox cuz WHY IS HE USING HIS CANE give him a proper sword omfg). Ben Again is their peakest interaction but they don’t have much cool dialogue later on😭😭😭😭
Oh, the possibilities… Eon being unnecessarily hostile over Paradox’s tranquility, bitter even. Him being explicitly envious about the Timewalker’s power and knowledge. Lines that hint at Eon’s past… Eon accusing Paradox of being an hypocrite for some reason hmmmmmmmm…… it wouldn’t only make ppl curious about Eon’s lore but also give more depth to Professor Paradox. The best scenario would be the further development of those dialogue, however them existing is already enough
also their rivalry should be gayer. Some shit like Eon going fully “only i can defeat you👹” and Paradox not quite hating him and teasing him for the shits and giggles (genuinely unbiased take bc i am heavily neutral to negative-leaning towards paradeon. Subtext, be it intentional or not, is fun tho)
