Life Update!
I finally managed to set up my computer and about half of the boxes are unpacked @_@ I feel accomplished!! The only thing is, now that I have my computer here with the computer genius husband, he delivered some pretty bad news =/ Our graphics card needs to be updated and our NIC (Network Interface Card) needs to be replaced badly. Yay. More money =/
Once I feel less pressure to focus on unpacking/cleaning (it’s literally all I do), I’m going to return to my art, finish some pieces, start some more, and redraw some old headshots that I’ve neglected for so long. If I can make those profile pieces look good--even with simple coloring--I might just open commissions and “test the waters” so to speak. There’s a part of me that still thinks no one would want to pay for my art @_@ and maybe that’s true, maybe it’s not...but I won’t know until I try.
Edit: I had to build two bookshelves for my dvds. Holy frijole! I plan on building a few more for my books but man, I don’t know. There’s like six big boxes full of books :( How do I have so many books? I can’t believe I’ve read that many books!
