Ok, just gonna say
If you aren’t a game developer or programer, you really shouldn’t be saying anything about how long a game takes to develop
And yes, I’m talking about Yandere Simulation.
Because you don’t have any experience with what programming is like. I highly doubt a lot of people could do much better in terms of develompment speed if they were working with the same resources as Yandere Dev
Oh, and that’s another thing. Yan Sim isn’t being developed by a proper game company. So comparing the dev speed to that of games from established companies isn’t fair. And let’s also not forget that Yan Sim is highly dependent on the speed and willingness of volunteers.
Take the release of 1980′s mode. I’ve seen some people complain about it, but I doubt they’d be any happier if the main ten weeks were released without voice acting and unique animations. If that were to happen, it would likely be considered ‘half assed’
Yan Dev is doing a lot of the work a whole company would do on his own.
While I’m not a programmer myself, my aunt is, and my sister is a computer science major, and they’ve said this about coding.
Coding takes as long as its going to take, and making a time estimate can be difficult. Because, if you encounter a problem, it stays a problem until you find the source, however long that takes. It can range anywhere from a few seconds, to a few minutes, to even several hours, or days, depending on the source.
And that’s that. If you’re going to respond to this post just to argue, don’t bother. I don’t care if you disagree with me, but you don’t need to go out of your way to start an argument when you could just find people who share your view point. I am, however, okay with friendly, civil, debate. Also, I’d like to hear what people who work in computer science have to say.
